About Earl
Earl has served as Business Coach to Buell since 2018 and recently joined the team as Fractional CFO in 2024. He graduated with a BA in Accounting from Seattle University and has a PhD in business from the school of hard knocks. Earl was a CFO in the corporate world for nearly two decades, for a variety of companies in Washington, and California, including Laird Norton Wealth Management and Wentworth, Hauser and Violich.
Earl believes in giving back to his communities through board and committee service, serving as Chair of the National Speakers Association Chapter Leadership Committee, Board President of the SnoValley Regional Chamber of Commerce, Board President of the National Speakers Association Northwest Chapter, and Board Chair of Leadership Eastside. He also served as Board Member and Treasurer of the Mercer Island Boys and Girls Club. He was also actively involved as a Little League and Select Baseball/Softball coach on both Mercer Island and Snoqualmie.
When Earl is not working, he can be found practicing in the yoga studio, exploring the outdoors through hiking, or preparing for 5K and 10K races. He is a freshly minted grandfather and loves his newest role as “grandpa!”
