About Carissa

Carissa brings a unique blend of experiences to Buell Realtime Reporting, from living in remote Alaska to serving in Iraq with the U.S. Air Force in the early 2000s. With a degree in Web Development, she combines her passion for technology and art with an appreciation for detail-oriented work. Before joining Buell, Carissa was part of the team at Reed Jackson Watkins, a transcription firm in Seattle. Outside of work, she is a talented artist, with her pieces featured in Tacoma cafés and local art markets throughout the Pacific Northwest.
