Congratulations to Buell team member Krystal Strong for being inducted into the Hall of Fame at Arizona State University. Krystal was a redshirt freshman on the 2007 winning track team. They were the second team to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at ASU. The honor is usually only given to individuals.
In 2007 Krystal ran a personal best time of 17:01.07 to win the 5,000m run at the Double Dual, placed third in the 3,000m run at Sun Angel Classic, 13th at the PAC-10 Championships in the 5,000m run, and scored at the MPSF Indoor Championships with an eighth-place finish and personal-best time of 9:46.26. That year it was a clean sweep of all championships, which included the 2007 MPSF Indoor Championship, the 2007 NCAA Indoor Championship, the 2007 Pac-10 Championship, the 2007 NCAA West Region Championship, and the 2007 NCAA Outdoor Championship.
We couldn't be more proud of her! Way to go Krystal!
