Buell is honored to be a finalist for the Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year award in the seventh annual King County Executive’s Small Business Awards. A panel of judges selected finalists based on a nomination statement that addressed the business’s impact on employment, participation in community activities, and other achievements and accomplishments of the company.
The winners will be announced at an award ceremony on September 21. Over 200 small business owners, entrepreneurs, and supporters of small business from across the County are expected to attend and show their support for this year's finalists and winners. The event this year will celebrate and honor the success of small business with a continental breakfast, finalist displays, and recognition of this year's winners in the following categories: Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, Exporting, Green/Sustainable, Workforce Development, Rural, and the overall Small Business of the Year.
