Buell Realtime Reporting Welcomes New Court Reporter, Laura Ohman

Laura began her court-reporting career in October of 2008. She is a certified court reporter in the state of Washington, a member of the National Court Reporters Association, a member of the Washington Court Reporters Association, and she holds her RPR certification through the NCRA.

Laura enjoys all of the different people, places, and stories that she comes across while working as a court reporter. "I like the variability of court reporting and the stories. Sometimes they can be outrageous, sad, scary, maddening, and enlightening, but it opens the door for you to see into so many different worlds that you wouldn't get to see otherwise," Laura said.

In her spare time, you can find Laura with her husband, son, and daughter. They love being able to spend time outdoors, running, hiking, and camping. Laura also loves cooking and being able to travel.
